Facilitated Telehealth
OT and SLP at Beanies

At Beanies Family Support we provide Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology via telehealth. We bring high-quality, accessible therapy to families across the Huon Valley and beyond.
How Our Model Works
We offer Facilitated Telehealth Appointments, which means you receive the expertise of a qualified OT or Speech Pathologist and the hands-on help of a Beanies Allied Health Assistant. All in the setting that suits you best:
-
In-Clinic: Our dedicated therapy rooms are equipped with high-quality technology, sensory tools, and resources to make sessions engaging and effective.
-
In Schools: We work closely with teachers and support staff to run sessions on-site at your child’s school, making therapy practical and consistent with their daily environment.
-
At Home: For children who feel most comfortable in their own space, we bring our technology and support to you.
No need to stress about Wi-Fi drops, setting up webcams, or managing tricky tech, we take care of that for you.
Why Families Choose Beanies
-
Reduced Wait Times: Because we partner with Umbo and run sessions locally, families can access therapy faster than traditional in-person waitlists.
-
A Friendly Face In the Room: A Beanies team member is always physically present to guide activities, support engagement, regulate emotions, and ensure the therapist’s goals are carried out effectively.
-
NDIS-Friendly: All sessions can be funded through NDIS plans. Not sure how it works or whether your child is eligible? We’ll walk you through it.
-
Consistent, Holistic Support: Our team collaborates across home, school, and community settings so kids experience support that feels connected and consistent — not stop-start.
More Than a Screen
Even though your therapist joins via telehealth, the Beanies experience is still warm, hands-on, and personal. Kids get real-life interaction and support, parents feel guided and reassured, and therapists get high-quality insights through our team on the ground.
